Strawberry Jam

This recipe is from the collection of my great grandmother Viola Widmann Weigel.

3 cups crushed berries

5 cups sugar

Mix and let stand 20 minutes

Mix 1 package sure jell and 1 cup water. Boil for 1 minute. Add this to berries and stir 2 or 3 minutes. Pour into jars and refrigerate or freeze.
