Prune Cake
This recipe is from the collection of Theresa Bohman Stangl via cousin Cathy R. ca 1920s

1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Prunes – well cooked and chopped fine
1/2 Cup Prune Juice
3 Eggs – well beaten
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon each of Nutmeg and Cloves
1 Teaspoon Soda
2 Cups Flour
Bake in layers and put together with white filling
