Banana Pie

Bake crust as for a lemon pie

Make a custard of 1 cup sweet milk, 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 2 eggs. Cook together until thick, stirring constantly.

Cut up 3 bananas according to size in crust.

Cover with custard and frost with the white of 2 eggs beaten with 1 tablespoon sugar spread on pie and return to oven to brown.
