Salad Pickles

This recipe is from the collection of my great grandmother, Viola Widmann Weigel.

Slice pickles & onions in salt water overnight

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cups vinegar

1 1/2 cups water

1 teaspoon celery seed

1 teaspoon mustard seed

Bring to boiling point & add pickles & let boil until they begin to look glossy. Can & seal.
