Cherry Chocolate Cake

This recipe is from the collection of my great grandmother, Viola Widmann Weigel.

Cherry Chocolate Cake

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup Crisco

1 egg

1 square melted chocolate

1 teaspoon soda

1 cup sour milk

1 bottle cherries

juice and nuts

Bake 375 degrees
