Otto Gust’s Parents

This week I’m sharing another picture where I know the names of the people in the photo, but not how they are related to me.

August Gust and Augusta Teschner

This photo was in the collection of my great aunt Margaret Kroening. The photo is labeled “Otto Gust’s Parents”. The couple in the photo are August Gust and Augusta Teschner. I have searched and cannot find a family connection.

The Gust family and the Kroening family were well acquainted based on the number of news clippings I could find of them attending various social functions together. I find it interesting that the couple are not labeled with their own names, just that they are Otto Gust’s parents. Otto seems to be the focus of the relationship then.
