Joseph M. Kroening
Joseph M. Kroening, 72, Town of Cleveland, died yesterday at 1:15 o’clock at the home of his son, Bernhard Kroening, Town of Spencer, where he had been the past three weeks.

Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10 o’clock in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Stratford. The Rev. Paul Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. The body is at the home of a son, Leon Kroening, Town of Cleveland, where the Holy Name Society will conduct rosary services tomorrow night at 8 o’clock. The Rosary Alter Society will have rosary servicesWednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock and the parish rosary services will be held there Wednesday night at 8 o’clock.
Mr. Kroening was born May 9, 1884 in the Town of Cleveland, and married Mary Ponjock June 6, 1911. She died August 4, 1935.
Surviving are eight daughters Miss Margaret Kroening, Town of Cleveland, Mrs. Clarence Wurl, Town of Day, Mrs. John Beyer, Unity, Mrs. Joseph Denee, Stratford, Mrs. Leo Geiger, Loyal, Mrs. Felix Masanz, Marshfield, and Mrs. Edward Sitko and Mrs. Orville Langwehr, Mosinee, and four sons, Bernard Kroening, Town of Spencer, Melvin Kroening, Marshfield, Jerome Kroening, Stratford, and Leon Kroening, Town of Cleveland.
Also surviving are two brothers, John and George Kroening, Town of Cleveland, and a sister, Miss Mary Kroening, Town of Cleveland, and six grandchildren.
